As we approach the New Year, I’d like to wish each and every one of you a very happy and prosperous New Year.  The year 2012 will come in with an abundance of planning, meetings and gatherings for Presbyterian Women as we praise and worship our Lord and Savior through our actions and our deeds. 

Plans are moving along smoothly for our Annual Gathering on March 24, 2012, at Little Mountain Presbyterian Church in Abbeville.  Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend.  Details will be forthcoming in our first newsletter for the New Year. 

 Please make note the candidates that will be voted on for the Synod  of South Atlantic Coordinating Team will be listed, along with their biographies, in our Newsletter. We will vote on these candidates at our Annual Gathering in Abbeville. 

 Another upcoming event is the Churchwide Gathering in Orlando, Florida,  July 17- 20, 2012.  Registration booklets are available from Churchwide, your Cluster Leader, or let me know if know you need one.  Synod of South Atlantic women are the hosts for this event.  If you would like to volunteer to help, please let either Ann Barnwell or me know.

Plans are also underway for the 2013 Synod of South Atlantic Gathering at Epworth-by-the-Sea, October  25-27, 2013.  South Carolina Presbyterian Women are hosting this event so you may be called on to assist in the planning or volunteering for that weekend.
